In this role, you will have close collaboration with production management and cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of business and people plans, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement in the employee experience.The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of production and manufacturing operations, and the ability to drive business performance through effective partnership and people plan execution. You will act as a role model to drive a high performance and inclusive culture and promote BAE Systems Australia's values and core leadership behaviours.We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, with options of working a 9-day fortnight and/or hybrid working.Key responsibilities include:Operational Support: Act as a key liaison between the production floor and business leadership, ensuring alignment on objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and strategic priorities.Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, working to resolve conflicts, concerns and improve employee experience, attraction and retention.People Plan Delivery: Partnering with leaders to align HR initiatives and strategy with program goals.Employee Engagement & Communication: Foster a collaborative, safe and positive culture, providing guidance and support to teams on best people practice.Workforce Mobilisation: Become a key contributor to the trades mobilisation team in a period of significant growth. Work closely with recruitment to identify talent pipelines ensuring a strong supply of qualified trades for current and future requirements.Change Management: Support change management efforts by helping to drive adoption of new systems, processes, or technologies within the manufacturing environment.About YOUDemonstrated experience working with enterprise agreements and trade unions.Demonstrated experience as a HR Business Partner, ideally within a manufacturing environment.Experience in managing multiple business and functional priorities.Outstanding communication skills across all levels and ability to engage and manage effective relationships with key stakeholders.Degree or equivalent experience in related discipline.Significant knowledge and application of HR policies, processes and practices.We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
