Consultant Psychiatrist | Tertiary Mental Health Service | Northern Territory
We are working closely with the principal tertiary hospital in the Northern Territory and are keen to connect with Consultant Psychiatrists interested in full‐time opportunities within a comprehensive and high‐impact Mental Health service. The service provides acute inpatient, consultation‐liaison and community‐based psychiatric care across a vast regional and remote catchment. Consultants practise within a structured multidisciplinary model and contribute to both clinical delivery and service development. This role will appeal to Psychiatrists seeking professional depth, cultural diversity and meaningful regional impact.
The Hospital & Mental Health Services
This is the primary tertiary referral hospital for the Northern Territory. Mental Health services include:
* Acute adult inpatient psychiatry
* Consultation‐liaison psychiatry
* Community mental health programs
* Emergency Department interface
* Regional and remote referral responsibilities
* Multidisciplinary teams including psychology, specialist nursing and allied health
The service manages complex presentations reflective of its broad geographic and culturally diverse population.

Requirements
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP)
* Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
* International Medical Graduates assessed by RANZCP as partially or substantially comparable
