One of QLD largest caravan and RV dealerships are looking to take on 2 apprentice Recreational Vehicle Technicians to join their already successful workshop.
These positions are full time and you will be exposed to the following as part of your apprenticeship.
- Inspect and document any second hand vehicles for damages and required repairs.
- Pre Deliver new and used Caravans and motor homes in accordance with defined policies and
procedures.
- General service and maintenance
- Service repairs
- Warranty repairs and parts replacement
- Parts accessories fitting
- Insurance repairs
- Provide relevant information to the Service Department when required.
**Requirements**:
We would love to hear from you if you are:
- comfortable within a fast-paced work environment,
- motivated and a well organised team player.
- A genuine interest in caravan, cabinet making, boat building, shop fitting etc.
- 12 volt electrical experience preferred
- Good attention to detail,
- The ability to work within a team environment,
- A positive can-do attitude,
- The ability to meet deadlines,
- Effective communication skills,
- Follow instruction from trainers
- Sound understanding of technical use of power tools,
- Relative mechanical or automotive aptitude,
- High standards of housekeeping throughout the workshop
- Reliable
- Can identify WPHS concerns
- A driver's license is preferred.
**Benefits**:
These are full-time positions, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm with occasional Saturday work.
You will gain your certificate III in Recreational Vehicle Service and Repair.
