Immunology Research Fellowship: Advancing Cancer Immunotherapy
The La Gruta Laboratory at Monash University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Fellow to contribute to cutting-edge research in cancer immunotherapy.
The Opportunity
In this fixed-term position, you will play a key role in engineering T cell receptors to enhance tumour recognition. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Conducting independent and team-based research in T cell development and immunity
* Performing molecular and cellular immunology experiments, including mouse models, viral infections, flow cytometry, in vitro assays, and genetic screening
* Supporting grant applications, manuscript preparation, and interdisciplinary collaborations
You will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects advancing our fundamental understanding of T cell biology, train and collaborate with leading researchers in a world-class research environment.
We are looking for candidates with a PhD in Immunology or a related field, experience in cellular immunology, virology, or molecular biology techniques, and strong data analysis and bioinformatics skills.
