About the role
* Propagate, plant, and undertake revegetation across diverse landscapes.
* Perform general grounds tasks including debris and rubbish removal, cleaning of outdoor features and hardstand areas, line marking, and managing injured or deceased wildlife.
* Mulching, pruning, hedging, turf care, pest control and the application of chemicals and fertilisers.
* Operate and maintain equipment in accordance with the Operator's Manual and scheduled maintenance requirements.
* Operate mowers, tractors, small plant machinery and both powered and non‑powered hand tools.
* Work across all bases as agreed with the Supervisor, based on operational needs.
About You
* 1+ years' experience in a similar working environment.
* Experience with operating and maintaining plant and equipment.
* Experience in manual handling.
* Experience working within an environmental management system.
* Certificate in horticulture or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
Requirements
Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result, the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police Check.
