**What is the role?**
Our business is only as strong as the data and products we provide to our customers. That's where you come in: you're passionate about data and will leverage your SQL skills to analyze, query and manipulate data, ensuring adherence to business rules and procedures. You'll collaborate across teams to support data quality initiatives spanning from data ingestion through to our suite of products. You'll support our data stewards with identifying, monitoring and improving the quality of our critical data elements.
**What will you be doing?**
We are looking for a Data Quality Analyst to join our team as CoreLogic continues its transformation journey, uplifting data quality and enhancing our data capabilities:
- Data analysis and reporting/presentation of results
- Property data reporting and benchmarking on a periodic basis
- Identification of data anomalies, sizing and root cause analysis
- Correct data anomalies/errors related to specific data quality initiatives and customer projects
- Assess new data supplies sourced by the acquisition team
- Develop solutions using AWS/GCP, Python and SQL
- Preparation and distribution of Data Quality metrics such as volumes, issue types, trends and performance.
- Define Data Quality rules for critical data elements
- Test and approve changes to production updates as required.

- a demonstrated ability to deal with complex data related issues, drawing credible conclusions and recommendations based on your analysis of multiple scenarios and data points
- exceptional skills in partnering with clients/staff and in developing and maintaining long term supportive relationships
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to communicate and work with technical and non-technical people
- customer service focus with a mindset for continuous improvement
- ability to work independently and as a contributing, collaborative team member
- experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau
- proficient working with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- familiarity with real estate/property industry is a plus
- familiarity with data quality/data management tools also a plus
- 2+ years of similar business analysis experience
**What does success look like?**
In this role, success will be measured by the Analyst's ability to maintain high data quality standards, provide timely and actionable insights, and contribute to process improvement through both technical skills and proactive issue resolution.
Key Performance Indicators are based on:
- Quickly identifies and sizes data anomalies, performing root cause analysis to drive resolution.
- Demonstrates a systematic approach to problem-solving and takes ownership of data issues from identification to correction.
- Successfully corrects data anomalies and errors related to data quality initiatives and customer projects within agreed-upon timelines.
- Thoroughly assesses new data sources and provides actionable recommendations to the acquisition team, demonstrate sound judgment in the evaluation and approval of new data supplies.
- Creates efficient, scalable solutions using AWS/GCP, Python, and SQL that improve data processing and quality control, continuously seeks opportunities to automate and optimize processes.
- Maintains data integrity and audit protocols in line with CoreLogic's ISO27001 certification.
- Works closely with stakeholders to validate that changes align with project requirements and business goals.
- Establishes and enforces clear, actionable data quality rules for critical data elements and ensures data quality standards are adhered to and regularly updated based on business needs.
