Job Summary
The Air Component Command and Control Capability System (AC-C2CS) is a mission-critical suite of software applications that enables the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to effectively plan, prepare, execute, manage, and report on aviation operations.
The IT Security Officer will play a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of our customers' technology by overseeing adherence to defence security frameworks and managing system accreditation.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain security documentation.
* Define and enforce security controls, access management, and data protection measures.
* Lead incident response planning, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability management.
* Provide guidance and training to project teams and stakeholders on security best practices.
Requirements
A strong understanding of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), DSPF, and related compliance standards is essential. Experience in risk management, security architecture, and incident response for mission-critical systems is also required. Familiarity with network security, identity and access management, and secure system design is highly desirable.
