 
        
        The Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Medical Receptionist to join our team.
Job Description:
We are looking for a friendly, organised and efficient individual to manage the frontline of our Medical Centre. You will work closely with clinical staff, reception staff and the practice manager in a permanent part-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Meet and greet patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
 * Manage phone enquiries, schedule appointments and maintain accurate records.
 * Maintain a clean, presentable and well-stocked reception area, waiting room and consult rooms.
 * Manage medical records confidentially and efficiently, adhering to data protection policies.
 * Liaise with team members and external providers for patient care, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
 * Perform general administration duties, including scanning, emailing, mail and banking tasks.
 * Collect and enter patient details into the system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
 * Participate in quality improvement activities, contributing to the enhancement of patient care and practice operations.
 * Schedule monthly medication chart bookings for aged care residents, prioritising their needs and safety.
 * Undertake training for professional development, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations.
 * Participate in staff meetings, sharing ideas and expertise to drive practice growth and success.
Essential Criteria:
 * Previous experience as a Medical or Dental Receptionist is preferred but not essential.
 * A current driver's licence is required.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
 * Strong organisation and time management skills are necessary for managing multiple tasks and priorities.
 * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and demands.
 * Experience with Best Practice Software is preferred but not essential.
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration.
 * Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
