Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Fatigue and Human Factors Advisor. This critical advisory position will play a vital part in our Safety, Health, Environment and Learning (SHEL) team, focusing on fatigue risk management.
The ideal candidate will provide expert advice and support on fatigue risk management across the business, assist in implementing and enhancing our Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS), develop fatigue risk assessments at the enterprise level, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist advice and support on fatigue risk management across the business.
* Assist the Senior Advisor – Human Factors and Performance in implementing and enhancing the FRMS.
* Develop fatigue risk assessments specific to tasks and work contexts at the enterprise level.
* Analyse fatigue-related data and present actionable insights and recommendations.
* Design and deliver fatigue management training programs.
* Contribute specialist fatigue input to incident investigations and safety learning.
* Identify and support continuous improvement and project-based opportunities relating to fatigue risk.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong mix of technical knowledge, stakeholder engagement capability, and a proactive mindset. Ideally, you will have:
* A tertiary qualification in psychology, human factors, behavioural science, or a related field.
* Experience managing fatigue risks in transportation or heavy industry environments.
* Experience implementing or supporting Fatigue Risk Management Systems in a complex organisational setting.
* Familiarity with bio-mathematical modelling tools used for fatigue prediction and analysis.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.
* Experience identifying and managing fatigue or human factors issues in safety-critical environments.
* Strong capability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
