About the role and where you'll be working:
The Multiskilled Domestic – Cleaning, Laundry, and Catering Services is a hands‑on, customer‑focused role responsible for delivering high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, laundry services, and basic catering support across Juniper residential aged care facilities.
Working closely with care staff and hospitality teams, this role supports residents' wellbeing by jp maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment and ensuring the effective preparation, delivery, and service of meals. The role is flexible and may include rotation between streams of cleaning, laundry, and catering duties based on operational needs.
Juniper Beth herein has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with just 26 rooms, it is a small residential home located in the heart of Katanning, WA. Residents can freely personalise their rooms to make them feel just right. A compassionate and respectful team of staff support residents to continue pursuing their own interests, backed by individualised clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing cleaning services including vacuuming, emptying rubbish, dusting, wiping surfaces, and maintaining resident rooms, windows, toilets, bathrooms, and communal areas.
* Help within the kitchen – prepping food, maintaining cleanliness.
* Laundry services.
* Competent use of relevant chemicals and associated safety principles when cleaning.
* Respect residents' property and privacy.
* Safely use equipment and turle ICU.
Key Requirements:
* Must have valid work rights in Australia.
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures.
* Understanding of infection control.
* Experience in domestic cleaning in an aged care setting (desirable).
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
