About the role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis to support Rox's transition from Explorer to Developer and Producer. This role provides critical insights into financial performance, ensures compliance and supports decision-making through robust analysis and forecasting.
What you'll do
* Running of month end procedures required in Pronto accounting system. Reconciliation of general ledger and project subledgers.
* Preparation of month end reports (management, balance sheet, P&L and cashflow)
* Preparation of taxation returns (Income Tax, FBT, Payroll Tax & BAS).
* Assistance with, quarterly, half year & full year reporting.
* Assist with Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process.
* Assist with project cost tracking and capital expenditure reporting.
* Manage fortnightly accounts payable process.
* Manage monthly payroll & reconciliation of employee entitlements.
About You
* Technical accounting, taxation and financial principles and reporting knowledge.
* Advanced proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong problem-solving skill, analysis techniques and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting or related discipline.
* CA/CPA accreditation or working towards.
* 2+ years' experience in an accounting role.
