Skills & Experience Required
Formal qualifications or previous employment in the medical field are not necessary, however transferable skills and experience, and displaying a strong track record, are essential. You will need great telephone etiquette, customer service expertise, appointment management and data entry competencies and strong IT skills. A willingness to learn is fundamental to this role.
Your responsibilities will bounce between reception duties and administrative tasks, you will need to be adaptable and fast on your feet to keep up with the demands of our busy Practice.

You will be involved in all aspects of reception and patient services.
You will be an integral part of a dedicated team supporting our doctors and patients. Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette is essential.
Your computer prowess will be put to test with:
* Patient billing and receipting
* Scheduling appointments
* Data entry and filing
* Preparation and distribution of files and records
You will help maintain the appearance of the clinic and operate a clean, organised, safe workspace.
You will be responsible for the opening and closing of the practice (as required).
Most importantly, you will represent our brand and play a vital role in facilitating an exceptional patient journey through our healthcare service.
The finer details
* Part Time role (approx 19 hours per week) working on a 4-week rotating roster. Hours will increase from time to time to cover busy periods (this will be in consultation with the successful applicant).
* Practice hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.
* There are no weekend hours involved.
* On-site parking and uniforms are provided.
* Onsite training.
* You must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required, which at a minimum is a surgical face mask.
* You will need to maintain full vaccination status for all relevant communicable diseases for the duration of your employment.
* An offer of employment will be dependent of a satisfactory current police check and the successful completion of a 3 month probationary period.
