About Our Client: Our client is a global leader in conveyor component manufacturing, supplying high-quality rollers, pulleys, and idlers to the mining and bulk materials handling industries. About the Role:
* Set up and operate CNC lathes to machine conveyor rollers, shafts, and bearing housings.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications.
* Check tolerances and measure finished components using precision instruments.
* Perform tool changes, offsets, and routine CNC programming adjustments.
* Maintain quality standards and ensure all components meet specifications.
* Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines and work area.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow safety procedures.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production schedule.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Trade qualified Machinist.
* Experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* High attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments.
* Valid Electrical License and current Driver's Licence.
Applicants must be willing to undergo the following:
* Must successfully complete pre-employment medical including DAS.
* Minimum of two recent, relevant and contactable employment references.
