Our client has been a respected community services provider across NSW for more than 60 years. Built on an outstanding reputation of quality care and innovation, they are faith-based organization delivering with genuine care, respect and compassion.

Due to internal change, we are currently seeking a highly focused individual to join their team as a
**General Manager - Safety & Resilience (3 month contract)**.

Reporting to the Executive Director - Child Youth & Family, you will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and overall business strategy for Child, Youth and Family Services across geographical areas of operation within Regional NSW including Central Coast, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens2, Hunter, Mid North Coast and Western NSW.

The role works collegially with the Executive Director and Education portfolio to develop and implement the respective service delivery operational plan(s) to ensure they are recognised as an industry leader in creating strong communities and positive person-centred results for the people who they support.

**What we're looking for**:

- A track record of achievement and results in the operational management of Child, Youth and Family service provision
- A sound understanding and working knowledge of the broader Community Services sector coupled with a demonstrated ability to lead, shape and navigate effective service delivery within related funding frameworks
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen with an ability to maintain effective and open governance
- Highly developed risk management skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively balance and manage risk using a creative and productive risk-taking approach
- High level knowledge and understanding of related Child, Youth and Family regulatory frameworks to effectively lead the implementation of and compliance with the framework
- Strong leadership and people management skills to motivate and drive a group of senior managers in the effective implementation of the Child, Youth and Family Services Delivery business strategy and plan
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to positively lead and negotiate change, manage stakeholder relationships in a consultative and collaborative manner, and develop sustainable relationships with all levels of stakeholders
- Proven ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a broader Senior Management Team
- Highly developed written, verbal and inter-personal communications skills
- Willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
- Current drivers' licence
