Job Summary
This role adheres to departmental procedures, fulfilling compliance with life, safety, fire, and hazardous waste requirements. The incumbent will triage, coordinate, and perform direct patient care and clinical flow, including preparing patients for providers, assisting with exams, assisting provider with suture preparation, and carrying out orders (i.e., various supplies/tests/X-Rays/dispensing of medications). Additionally, this role provides health assessments, prepares for physicals, completes calibration of equipment, and performs various testing, such as spirometry, audiograms, EKG's, drug testing, Timms testing, breath and saliva alcohols, venipuncture, etc. The successful candidate will enter and oversee data entry with the SYSTOC computer system, stock and order medications and medical/surgical supplies, review physical/test results with the provider, and handle phone calls (i.e., case management, testing/physical results).

Requirements
A nonexempt position responsible for nursing care under the supervision of physicians, providers, and/or registered nurse(s). May be involved in both clinical and administrative areas, including physical assessments, medication administration, promotion of wellness through patient education and teaching, care of the patient environment, and organizational tasks. Maintain a working knowledge of regulatory standards and be accountable for sustaining these standards in daily operations. Initiate and implement patient teaching plans. Clinical direction, oversight, and competency review is provided by medical providers and the ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
Current New Jersey LPN License (Licensed Practical Nurse)
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
