About the Role
As a Supervisor, you'll lead with integrity and compassion, guiding a team of Youth Workers to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care. You'll ensure personalised care plans meet individual needs, uphold rights, and promote cultural identity. Working collaboratively with case managers and stakeholders, you'll strengthen connections, support transitions, and champion best practice.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and inspire a team to deliver trauma-informed care
Oversee care plans, behaviour management, and child safety practices
Ensure children's voices, rights, and cultural identity are respected
Coordinate training, team meetings, and reflective practice sessions
Monitor compliance, conduct audits, and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with stakeholders and manage household operations
Supervisor Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor qualification in Social Work, Community Services or related field, or higher.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in child and youth services, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
* Knowledge of trauma-informed care, cultural competence, and child protection principles.
* Understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in the child welfare sector.
