What you bring to the table
* Project & Team Leadership: Manage job briefs and oversee the delivery and quality of work by surveyors and draftspersons; delegate tasks and coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve optimal performance and capability.
* Client & Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective communication between clients, LandPartners staff, management, councils, and consultants; attend client meetings and site inspections to ensure expectations, risks, and feedback are addressed.
* Planning & Regulatory Expertise: Consult with clients and council officers, interpret and analyse local and state planning instruments, and prepare, coordinate, and review Development Applications and consultant reports in accordance with planning regulations.
* Technical Delivery: Use CAD software to analyse and interpret survey data, review technical outputs, and ensure all work meets quality, safety, and environmental standards.
* Commercial & Project Control: Strategically prepare project plans, monitor and forecast costs, manage invoicing and outstanding payments with Accounts Receivable, and minimise financial risk while protecting professional reputation.
* Safety, Innovation & Business Development: Demonstrate leadership in OH&S compliance and training, undertake research and development for project management improvements, and maintain strong industry, government, and marketing networks to support new and existing business.

Skills & Experience
* Strong Analytical Capability: Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply sound judgement in complex project environments.
* Planning & Delegation: Proven ability to manage competing priorities, delegate effectively, and consistently meet project deadlines.
* Leadership & Influence: Well-developed leadership skills with the ability to guide teams, drive performance, and support professional development.
* Communication Skills: Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, enabling clear and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
* Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships across the business and with clients, supporting collaborative project delivery.
* Technical & Professional Experience: Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook, with strong capability in MicroStation/AutoCAD and MapInfo preferred; minimum 2 years' experience in project management roles within a LandPartners discipline.
* Registration with the QLD Board of Surveying and Spatial Information as a Registered Land Surveyor
* Tertiary education or equivalent.
* Tertiary education in Project Management will be highly regarded
