Key Administrative Role in Local Government
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administration Officer to join our local government sector.
This is a key role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent time management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite programs. The successful candidate will be able to develop proficiency with council corporate systems, work effectively as part of a team, and manage priorities to meet deadlines.
The Administration Officer will provide general administrative assistance and business support to the broader Waste Services department, collaborate with other administration team members, and assist with collation and recording of statistical data for waste services contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general administrative support to the Waste Services department
* Collaborate with other administration team members to deliver a seamless support service
* Assist with collation and recording of statistical data for waste services contracts
* Prepare reports, briefings, and statistical data analysis related to waste and recycling education activities
* Support the coordination of waste and recycling community engagement activities

* You possess well-developed organisational skills and excellent time management
* You have proficiency with Microsoft Office suite programs and can develop proficiency with council corporate systems
* You have outstanding people and relationship skills, with ability to work as a team
* You can time manage to meet all deadlines and priorities
* You have sound knowledge of administration practices and procedures
Qualifications:
* Certificate II in Business Administration or equivalent experience
* Current C class drivers license
