About the role
Bonfap Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled vehicle spray painter to join our team in Clyde, NSW. As a full-time vehicle spray painter, you will be responsible for the high-quality refinishing and painting of a range of vehicles to the highest industry standards.
What you'll be doing
1. Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming and masking
2. Mix and apply paint and lacquer coatings to vehicles, ensuring a flawless, high-gloss finish
3. Experience working on all vehicle types including passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and heavy machinery is required
4. Conduct quality checks throughout the painting process and make adjustments as needed
5. Maintain a clean and organised work area, following all health and safety protocols
6. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate with clients on the progress of their vehicle
7. Collaborate with the wider team to meet production deadlines and targets
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience as a vehicle spray painter, with at least 3-5 years in the automotive industry
2. Excellent knowledge of spray painting techniques, equipment, and materials
3. Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical manuals, and colour mixing charts
4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high-quality results
5. Good communication and customer service skills
6. A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
7. Australian work rights will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
8. Certificate III Automotive qualification is required for this position
