About the Role:
The Clinical Nurse Educator will play a pivotal role in direct clinical support, supervision, instruction and mentoring to graduates and staff to ensure the delivery of safe, quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide quality, evidenced based training and support to staff and graduates within the Perioperative department
* Develop, implement and evaluate learning and development programs
* Provide valuable contributions to the hospital's quality improvement process
\
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
* Minimum three (3) years' relevant specialty experience in an acute hospital setting
* Previous experience educating or preceptorship of staff in formal and informal settings
* Sound knowledge of evidence-based practice in a clinical environment
* Proven ability to work within a team or independently, as required
* Advanced computer skills
* Post graduate qualifications in Nursing/Clinical Education (or working towards) is desirable
* Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment – TAE40116 is desirable
