DPA Exemption
This position qualifies for a DPA exemption, allowing doctors under the 19AB moratorium to access a Medicare provider number. It also provides flexibility to work across Melbourne and surrounding areas.
Earning Potential
Doctors' earning potential depends on how many patients they see in a session/day. Indicative GP earnings are: minimum $1,600 gross billings per session (20 patients), up to $4,000 gross billings per day (50 patients). Doctors will also receive additional payments through GPACI ($390 per patient, per year paid quarterly) and Bulk Billing Practice Incentives Program (BBPIP) of 6.25% quarterly payment.
