The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Construction Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role reports to the Commercial Construction Manager and acts as a key liaison between stakeholders and the project delivery team, ensuring the effective management of all contractual obligations from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage end-to-end subcontractor packages, including tendering and negotiation
2. Collaborate with the estimating team to prepare and submit tenders
3. Conduct comprehensive subcontractor selection and negotiation processes
4. Administer subcontracts, progress claims, and variations
5. Review and finalise subcontract agreements in alignment with project requirements
6. Track and manage project costs, implementing effective cost-control practices
7. Issue and manage RFIs to clients, architects, and consultants
8. Utilise Premier to efficiently oversee project workflows
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Building and Construction (preferred)
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial construction contracts administration role (essential)
* Demonstrated ability to manage contracts for projects ranging from $1M to $20M
* Strong understanding of the Queensland construction market and subcontractor network
* High level of contractual and commercial acumen, with excellent negotiation skills
* Proficient in MS Office Suite; Premier experience highly regarded
