MYER is seeking expressions of interest from seasoned project management professionals with a strong track record in delivering complex, business-led projects. These exciting opportunities are within our Business Transformation Office, driving strategic change across the organization.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), to ensure alignment, transparency, and momentum. These roles are pivotal in delivering high-impact initiatives that support our strategic priorities.
Please note: we are not currently seeking IT Project Managers. Opportunities in this area will be advertised separately.
About the role:
Oversee the delivery of strategic initiatives within the Transformation Management Office, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Evaluate progress against goals and KPIs regularly, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with teams to synthesize challenges, prepare decision-making options, and escalate critical issues as needed.
Create comprehensive progress updates and materials for monthly forums (e.g., Transformation Management Forum).
Lead the facilitation of key decision forums and ensure timely, well-documented communication.
Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders in assigned initiatives, ensuring strong alignment and collaboration.
Act as a bridge between the Transformation Management Forum (ELT) and delivery teams, fostering trust and transparency.
Prepare content for key strategic communications, including Board presentations, investor updates, and CEO-led forums.
Partner with Change Managers and People & Culture to establish effective change management practices for sustainable outcomes.
Monitor, evaluate, and share insights on change adoption and impact, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
About you:
Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, delivering business-led projects, preferably within a retail or transformation context.
Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
High comfort level with ambiguity and engaging key stakeholders to deliver results.
Strong bias toward action.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all organizational levels.
Comfort with data analysis, able to perform tasks quickly and effectively, both regularly and on an ad hoc basis.
Experience using portfolio/project management tools.
