Job Info Location: MURARRIE, QLD Salary: Hourly Rate Job Type: Temporary position | Full time position Job Description This is an opportunity for a Lab Assistant/Technician to join the team. We have day or night shift on offer. You will be joining a fantastic team, working in the food industry, located in Murarrie. Shift times 6:00am - 2:00pm 7:00pm - 3:00am Pay rate $30 - $36 The role Perform routine quality assurance tasks as outlined in the Quality Policies Manual and associated procedures and work instruction Liaise with other Departments on site to ensure continual improvement of products and quality systems; Assist in shelf life testing and monitor of Raw Materials and intermediates Assist with the Raw Materials releasing if required. Collect and retain retention and shelf life samples in accordance with laboratory practices Arrange the pre-delivery of finished goods to selected customers Ensure that Laboratory and equipment are kept clean and tidy Daily calibration of equipment before testing To apply you will need Diploma or Degree in Food Science or relevant laboratory and/or Industry experience Appropriate experience in food testing in food laboratories. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
