Technical Support Fitter
This role is a fantastic opportunity to work as a skilled technical support fitter, providing expert assistance to the maintenance and production teams.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and adhering to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out routine planned shutdowns to minimize downtime
* Maintaining the condition and reliability of equipment
* Conducting thorough troubleshooting analysis to resolve issues efficiently
* Reading and interpreting mechanical and engineering drawings to inform maintenance decisions
* Providing timely support during breakdowns to maintain productivity
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical (Fitting/Machining)
* Previous experience working with Converting-type production lines in FMCG environments
* Proficiency in machining and basic welding techniques
* Knowledge and application of safe working practices and LOTO procedures
