We're currently seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer to assist with a large-scale records relocation project. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has great attention to detail, and is comfortable with repetitive manual tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Unpack paper files from old archive boxes and re-pack into new boxes
* Transport boxes between rooms and load them onto trolleys or trucks
* Navigate stairwells and corridors (some areas have no lift access)
* Perform general manual handling and keep work areas tidy
* Follow clear instructions to ensure efficient and accurate relocation of records
What We're Looking For:
* Good physical fitness - you'll be lifting and walking throughout the day
* Comfortable with stairs and repetitive manual work
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a small team
* A valid National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
* Hourly Rate: $32 per hour (depending on experience)
* Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
* Duration: Casual, project-based role
