A great opportunity exists for a Short Order Cook to join our friendly and dedicated team in a casual capacity. The Short Order Cook is responsible for ensuring that the standard and quality of the food preparation and the hygiene within the department is always maintained at the highest level.
Responsibilities
* Provide a high-quality product that is prepared consistently based on set standards.
* Preparation and cooking for breakfast and lunch services as well as some functions.
* Food safety, dietary and allergy requirements.
* Establish processes to ensure consistency and quality in à la carte and banquet services.
* Liaise with Management.
Qualifications
* A commercial Cookery Certificate is advantageous.
* Two (2) years of cookery experience within a licensed club, pub or restaurant would be advantageous.
* Food Safety Certificate.
* Outgoing, friendly, and passionate about providing exceptional food and service.
* Good time management skills and ability to work autonomously or in a team.
