Role Objective
The objective of this role is to lead the growth, engagement, and quality of the Simply Wall St Narrative Investing Community. It's both an acquisition and engagement channel, attracting new investors and deepening participation, retention, and loyalty within the platform.
Team Structure
Part of the Narratives Community team, working closely with leadership, product, and design. Directly reports to the Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities
Community Engagement & Growth
* Develop and execute strategies to encourage investors to share and create user‐generated investment narratives.
* Foster peer‐to‐peer engagement by driving follows, comments, likes, and collaboration.
* Moderate conversations to maintain an informed, respectful, and data‐driven environment.
* Build and manage a network of external creators, analysts, and contributors.
* Partner with the Community Product team to improve tools, engagement loops, and user experience.
Audience Expansion & Channels
* Own and improve community newsletters: Weekly Picks & Community Digest.
* Execute social sharing strategies to showcase top narratives and drive new investor engagement.
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to test and optimise cross‐platform campaigns, converting engaged audiences into active community members.
Sponsored Narratives & Partner Success
* Manage end‐to‐end sponsored narrative content from briefing to publishing and performance tracking.
* Coordinate with third‐party writers, contributors, and advertisers to deliver high‐quality, engaging, compliant stories.
* Track engagement, reach, and ROI for sponsored narratives, providing regular reports to partners and internal teams.
Knowledge
* Strong understanding of investing concepts, financial markets, and long‐term retail investor mindset.
* Experience with community management, growth marketing (forums, Discord, Reddit).
* Experience with editorial writing within investing, fintech, or financial media.
* Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter/X, Reddit, and Substack as engagement platforms.
* Experience with marketing tools like Braze.
Skills
* Community building and engagement strategy development.
* Editorial and copywriting expertise for investor audiences.
* Campaign planning, coordination, and reporting.
* Analytical ability to interpret engagement and performance data.

Full‐time remote role based anywhere in Australia; preferred core hours 7 am to 1 pm AEST (except Mondays).
