Tell me about this role: This is a part‑time (60%) Executive Assistant & Office Lead role ideal for an experienced EA who understands the pace, discretion, and structure of Defence or government environments. Supporting the Managing Director and Leadership Team, you’ll play a critical role in enabling effective leadership while ensuring the Canberra and Sydney offices operate smoothly, securely, and professionally. This role suits someone looking for meaningful, senior-level work on a part‑time basis, with autonomy, trust, and variety. You’ll be relied upon to anticipate needs, manage sensitive information, and uphold strong governance and security standards across both offices. What will I be doing day to day? Provide high‑level executive assistance to the Managing Director, including complex diary and inbox management Coordinate travel, expenses, and monthly credit card reconciliations for the leadership team Prepare briefs, correspondence, presentations, and leadership papers to a high professional standard Act as a trusted gatekeeper for senior leaders in a security‑aware, fast‑paced environment Support leadership meetings, offsites, site visits, and Defence‑aligned engagements Lead day‑to‑day office operations for Canberra and Sydney on a part‑time basis Coordinate building access, security passes, meeting rooms, visitors, and office services Liaise with landlords, property managers, service providers, and internal corporate teams Ensure offices are presentation‑ready for audits, senior stakeholder visits, and client engagements Support governance, compliance, and security obligations, including controlled records and audits Handle sensitive and classified information with discretion and sound judgement Act as a key point of contact between leadership, staff, and external stakeholders Draft internal communications on behalf of leadership when required Improve executive support and office processes to suit a part‑time operating model What sort of skills do I need? Experience within a Corporate, Government or Defence environment Strong communication skills Process orientated with good attention to detail Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a baseline clearance What’s in it for me?
