What you'll do
Onsite + remote support for Windows 10/11 and core business apps
Build, deploy and patch: servers, switches, APs, firewalls, UPS, end-user devices
Join/extend networks: VLANs, trunk/access ports, patch panels, cabinet hygiene
Microsoft 365: tenant config, Exchange/SharePoint/OneDrive, Intune autopilot
Microsoft 365/Azure work (tenant builds, migrations, and hybrid clean-ups).
Assist Azure work: AD Connect/Entra ID, VM/IaaS basics, backup & policies
Troubleshoot AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO, printing, Wi-Fi, VoIP handsets (Yealink etc.)
Keep tickets and run-books tight: procedures, diagrams, asset notes, KB articles
Opportunities to learn more about Remote Support, Security Stack Management and Automation management
Must-haves
~3+ years in MSP or similar client-facing support role
Confident with Windows desktop, Windows Server/AD, basic virtualization concepts
Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, switching, VLANs, Wi-Fi, VPN
Comfortable with hands-on installs: racking, patching, labeling, basic power/UPS
M365 admin experience; exposure to Intune/Entra ID
Current driver's licence + reliable vehicle; able to work onsite across Brisbane
Australian work rights (PR/Citizen)
Nice to have (big plus) include
Azure experience (IaaS, networking, migration or hybrid AD)
Microsoft certs (AZ-104/305, MD-102/SC-900), or working towards them
RMM/PSA experience (ConnectWise, N-able, etc.)
VoIP (SBC/SIP) and basic firewalling (Cisco/Sophos/Meraki)
Cabling know-how; ACMA registration or willingness to obtain
Security mindset (backup, patching cadence, EDR/Defender, Essential Eight awareness)
