About The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Peer Worker to join our Support After Suicide Postvention Program in Gippsland. Reporting to the Program & Practice Coordinator for Psychosocial Services, and working alongside partners such as Jesuit Social Services, this role offers the opportunity to shape local systems of care and lead the development of a compassionate, community‐led response to suicide bereavement.

* Complement existing broader postvention services and overall coordination without duplication.
* Support and empower communities to maintain social and emotional wellbeing.
* Establish referral pathways with a broad range of health, social and community services.
* Identify and facilitate opportunities that promote inclusion of and build the capacity of people and community groups to access services and achieve healthy, strong and connected communities.
