This is a great opportunity for Secondary School Teachers to join the dedicated staff at Trinity College. The successful applicants will have a sound knowledge of SACE teaching, planning and moderation and the appropriate pedagogy to engage and achieve successful student outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Play a vital role in the delivery of the senior school curricular at Trinity College Senior.
* Support and contribute to the college's Christian ethos and its educational programs.
* Participate in the College's co-curricular programme and pastoral care initiatives.
* Demonstrate high standards for student learning and personal performance; set positive expectations for classroom management and administration.
* Communicate effectively with a wide range of people, verbally and in writing, with sensitivity to cultural contexts.
Qualifications and Attributes
* Tertiary qualifications in teaching and the subjects identified.
* Registered to teach in South Australia or eligible to obtain registration.
* Understanding of and commitment to Christian education.
* Ability to participate in the school's pastoral care programme and co-curricular programme.
* Ability to respond positively to the pressures of a modern classroom; set high standards for student learning and personal performance.
* Strong administrative skills and ability to manage detailed position requirements.
* Excellent verbal and written communication; highly developed interpersonal skills with cultural sensitivity.
* Knowledge of and commitment to equal opportunity and work safety.
