As a mining superintendent, you will lead a production team to achieve operational excellence, ensuring safety and efficiency while meeting production targets.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement to drive accountability across the production team.
* Mentor and coach supervisors to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Collaborate with project leadership to ensure effective planning and execution of production activities.
* Monitor labor numbers to optimize manning levels and costs.
About You
* Proven experience in open-cut mining at the supervisory level is essential.
* You should be familiar with NSW Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Act 2013 and Work Health and Safety (mines and Petroleum Sites Regulation 2014).
* A Mining Engineering Managers Practising Certificate is highly desirable or you are working towards gaining certification.
* You should have expertise in managing large contract mining teams.
