About the Role The role requires being adept at assessing a client’s financial position and providing a suitable lending solution which supports their current and long-term goals. The role will provide support to Partners on a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries which gives a good basis for career development. As a full-service accounting and advisory firm, a steady stream of internal referrals support continued growth of the book. Our clients work with us because we provide a holistic approach, ensuring that we work cohesively with the clients, accountants and financial planners. Key Responsibilities include: Completing lending requirements for each customer based on their individual needs. Collaborate with customers to gather necessary information and supporting documents for loan applications. Complete all NCCP requirements for each application, including 100 points of identification. Researching finance products and policies. Workshop scenarios with lenders to find suitable solution for each applicant. Collecting information, completing compliance notes, and packaging up finance applications to be submitted to lenders. Staying up to date with CPD points and accreditations. Networking and business development. Identifying opportunities. Attending lender workshops to stay up to date with bank products, policies. Ensure the quality of all financial applications submitted and verify compliance under NCCP, obtain client consent before application lodgement, and correctly store all required documents and information. Skills And Experiences What We're Looking For You will have had significant experience in the finance and lending industry, particularly with self employed clients, commercial lending and asset finance preferably. Qualifications required would be minimum of Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management. You will be able to demonstrate through examples, a proven track record in a similar finance broker role with a wide range of lending solutions. The ability to write well and communicate proactively and clearly is essential for this role.
