What we offer
We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our North Queensland Civil Infrastructure Services team where you will actively lead the local civil team and support Fulton Hogan in driving safe, effective and profitable outcomes. This is an exciting role for a passionate candidate seeking new challenges within a vertically integrated business, with support from existing teams to secure your success. Based at our Townsville office, the successful candidate will mentor and develop people and meet the needs of both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities
* Deliver Civil Infrastructure Projects through the stages from Tendering to Finalisation and develop new business opportunities from inception through to operation.
* Provide ongoing management and leadership to the team and develop, recruit and retain staff to drive successful implementation of the NQ civil infrastructure department.
* Assist in the selection and procurement of plant and equipment.
* Complete commercial and financial monthly cost reviews to ensure forecasted costs are accurately tracked across all projects.
* Report and analyse subcontractor spend to identify opportunities and drive cost efficiencies.
* Drive a safety-first approach across the department in line with Fulton Hogan's "Living Safely 2.0" culture.
Requirements
* Be an enthusiastic, energetic hands-on industry professional with demonstrated ability in managing Civil Infrastructure projects, including TMR and Council projects.
* Have sound knowledge of civil infrastructure construction practices and principles.
* Demonstrate strong financial and commercial acumen and excellent people leadership skills.
* Be adept at building sound relationships, managing clients and stakeholders' expectations, and taking ownership to solve problems.
* Have a solid understanding of costings, budgets, forecasting, subcontractor management, estimating, and cost control.
* Show an ability to drive positive outcomes while fostering a culture of autonomy, accountability and continuous improvement.
