The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment, with a focus on high voltage (HV) winding systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and precision in winding techniques.Key Responsibilities:1.Electrical Fitting:·Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, including motors, alternators and generators.·Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics to identify faults.·Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards during electrical installations and repairs.·Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to implement electrical solutions.2.HV Winding:·Perform winding of coils for high voltage equipment as per specifications.·Utilize various winding techniques and tools to achieve precise and efficient results.·Conduct testing and quality checks on completed windings to ensure functionality and adherence to standards.·Document winding processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.3.Safety and Compliance:·Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices in electrical work.·Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety within the workplace.·Maintain a clean and organized work area.Qualifications:·Experience as an electrical fitter, with a focus on high voltage winding preferred.Skills:·Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and high voltage equipment.·Proficient in winding techniques and the use of related tools and equipment.·Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.·Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.·Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Application Process:Please be aware this position is for our workshop located in Perth, Western Australia.Interested candidates are invited to reach out through LinkedIn.Australian Winders is an equal opportunity employer.
