Job Description
- Conduct audits of financial statements and compliance processes in accordance with established standards.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas requiring improvement.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and documentation for review by senior management.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the audit process.
- Ensure all audit work complies with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
- Assist in the development of audit tools and methodologies to improve practices.
- Support the team in meeting deadlines and achieving project milestones.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Contract Auditor Should Have
- CA/CPA qualified or in final stages
- 2+ years of external audit experience (Big 4, mid-tier, or boutique firm)
- Comfortable hitting the ground running and juggling multiple clients
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and practices
- Proficiency with financial systems and auditing tools
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience in auditing processes within the professional services industry
- Effective communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
