In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely and high-quality clinical coding across a broad range of clinical specialities. You will apply advanced clinical knowledge and national coding standards to produce complex coded data that supports Activity Based Funding, reporting and organisational performance. Working with systems such as Cerner/iPM and 3M Codefinder, you will ensure coding accuracy while meeting throughput targets and maintaining compliance with privacy and confidentiality requirements. The role also involves professional communication with clinicians to resolve documentation and coding queries, contributing to continuous improvement and data integrity within the service. This position suits a self-directed professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in coding excellence. About You You are an accomplished Clinical Coder with demonstrated competencies aligned to the HIMAA Clinical Coder National Competency Standards (Intermediate or equivalent level). You bring a strong understanding of DRGs and Activity Based Funding, with a proven ability to code complex clinical episodes accurately and efficiently. You are confident working autonomously across the full range of clinical specialities and are skilled in prioritising workloads to meet deadlines. Your advanced communication and problem-solving skills enable you to work effectively with clinicians and colleagues, supporting high-quality clinical documentation and coding outcomes.
