About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Internal Recruiter to join our team on a Full-Time basis. This is a high-impact, high-volume recruitment role, supporting the growth of our workforce, particularly within our residential care programs.
You will be based at our Spring Hill Head Office, working closely with hiring managers to attract, engage, and hire top talent who are committed to making a difference in our residential programs.
Main responsibilities will include:
* Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define role requirements, and develop effective sourcing and selection strategies.
* Source and engage talent through job boards, social platforms, referrals, talent pools, and networking activity, maintaining awareness of market trends and candidate availability.
* Manage end-to-end recruitment, including screening applications, conducting initial interviews, assessing skills and competencies, and ensuring a positive and inclusive candidate experience throughout.
* Facilitate assessment centres, including coordinating logistics, guiding assessors, running activities or interviews, and providing structured evaluation and recommendations.
* Build strong relationships with hiring managers and HR partners, offering guidance on interview techniques, selection methods, timelines, and market insights.
* Manage candidate communication, providing timely updates and constructive feedback while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
* Support employer branding through well-crafted job adverts, external events, and proactive pipeline building for future or hard-to-fill roles.
* Maintain accurate ATS records, uphold compliance with employment and data-privacy requirements, and generate recruitment reports and insights to support continuous improvement.
* Coordinate offers, pre-employment checks, and preboarding handovers to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
* Travel to DCC sites as required for recruitment purposes

Qualifications/Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualification in human resources or business discipline (desirable).
* At least 2 years' solid recruitment experience, preferably in human services or similar sector.
* Ability to consult stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities and develop a purpose-built solution.
* Strong interpersonal, communication and consultation skills, with experience interacting across all levels of the organisation, to positively build effective working relationships, drive engagement, motivate people and influence culture.
* Project coordination skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Strong research skills and a sense of urgency to fill positions in a timely manner.
* Ability to pass a police check and LCS Check (Child Safety and Personal History Screening)
* Ability to obtain a QLD Working With Children Check (Blue Card) and NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card)
* Current Australian driver's licence (P2 or Open)
* Must have valid, unrestricted, and permanent working rights in Australia
