About the role
We are seeking a diligent and organised Stock Controller to join our team at Goodprice Pharmacy in Albion Park Rail, NSW. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the management and distribution of our pharmacy's inventory, ensuring effective stock control and optimal supply chain operations.
What you'll be doing
* Manage and maintain accurate records of all stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and distributing pharmaceutical products and other supplies
* Conduct regular stock takes and audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies
* Liaise with suppliers to coordinate deliveries and ensure timely replenishment of inventory
* Analyse sales data and usage trends to forecast demand and optimise stock levels
* Implement and monitor inventory management processes and procedures to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
* Provide reporting on stock levels, purchases, and other key metrics to support business decision-making
* Assist with the coordination of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of products
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in a stock control or inventory management role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or retail industry
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail
* Proficient in using inventory management software and spreadsheet applications
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines pertaining to the storage and handling of pharmaceutical products
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
