Government Relations Professional
We are seeking a strategic thinker to serve our interests across multiple jurisdictions.
* The ideal candidate will be able to proactively anticipate, identify and address potential legislative and regulatory issues that could affect our global business.
They will assess potential public policy issues, developing and implementing comprehensive strategic and tactical plans to protect and advance our interests.
As a key voice for us before a range of audiences, they will constantly position the company as a leader in government relations and public policy. They will possess established relationships with key policy makers with all branches of government in all of the key markets.
Responsibilities
* Advise on how to achieve projects and goals in a highly-regulated environment while maintaining compliance with all laws and regulations.
* Develop, maintain and leverage external relationships to strategically position the company as a leading voice on relevant business issues and communications related public policy debates.
* Partner with business leaders to determine how the government affairs function can promote business goals and objectives.
* Manage and lead a cross-company team charged with advancing goals related to complicated public policy and government relations issues.
* Value and leverage talents of people with different perspectives.
