About the Role
Our delivery drivers are the face of Alsco Uniforms and have a key role to play in delivering exceptional customer service potentially in the mining sector. Along the way, you'll ensure the safe and timely transport of our products, while following safety regulations and efficient route planning. We're excited to welcome someone like you to our team
Home branch location for all truck loading is Mackay so the right candidate would need to live locally.
You will need
* To be physically fit
* You must have a current and valid MR Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence.
* Long distance experience is essential and night driving experience is advantageous
* Good working knowledge of Smart Phones / Tablets
* To be clean shaven to meet mine site entry requirements
* HC licence highly regarded but not essential
In this role you will be responsible for
* Systematic loading of the truck to ensure efficient completion of route / run each day.
* Building and maintaining relationships with customers to ensure Service Excellence; and
* Entering Mine Site bathhouses on a daily basis and delivering garments to the correct lockers.
* Complying with Alsco Uniforms' Safety standards and abide to all mine site standards and safety procedures.
* Communicating all delays, concerns and relevant information to Service Account Manager in a timely manner.
You will enjoy being on the road and interacting with other people regularly and pride yourself on representing Alsco Uniforms with customers and the community. You will also be used to meeting and exceeding performance targets set for your role.
