Pharmacy Assistant Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to work closely with a qualified Pharmacist in preparing medicines, advising patients on non-medicinal products, and assisting with stock control.
This is a permanent fulltime part time position on a rotating roster which includes weekend shifts. As the Pharmacy Assistant, you will receive ongoing support from our leaders, educators, systems support and marketing teams, as well as access to various employee benefits and discounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing medicines under the supervision of a qualified Pharmacist
* Providing advice to patients on non-medicinal products
* Assisting with stock control and ordering
* Collaborating with the pharmacy team to deliver excellent care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous working experience in a pharmacy or retail setting
* Certificate II in Community Pharmacy and S2/S3 qualifications are highly desirable but not essential
* Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations using vaccines approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
* Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
* National police check conducted within the last 12 months
