Electrical Substation Technician
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Substation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient erection, operation, and maintenance of electrical substations and equipment associated with the Electricity Distribution Network.
About You:
* You have extensive experience working in the electrical industry, specifically with high voltage and extra high voltage transmission substations.
* You hold a current Driver's Licence (MR/HR desirable) and possess a White/Blue Card (OHS Construction Induction Card).
* You have strong problem-solving skills and are able to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Erect, operate, and maintain electrical substations and equipment to ensure safe and reliable delivery of power.
* Assist with faults and investigations, and prepare reports following fault investigations.
* Complete tasks according to industry standards, observing Safety Act, PSSR Guidelines, Network Installation Regulations, and OH&S guidelines.
