Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to drive sales and business development efforts across all three of our service lines. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior professional to contribute to our growth while developing their career toward a future leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Lead Generation:
o Identify and generate leads for our Talent service line, focusing on recruitment opportunities with startups and SMEs.
o Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects through market research, outreach and external events.
2. Partnership Development:
o Source and onboard new partners for our Network service line (Startup&Angels), fostering mutually beneficial relationships.
o Represent Australiance Group at events and networking opportunities to build and strengthen partnerships.
o Conduct post-Startup&Angels event lead generation through phone calls, gather user feedback, and facilitate member debriefs to generate leads and improve future initiatives.
o Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Community Manager, whose primary focus is successful event delivery.
3. International Expansion Support:
o Identify and engage with companies looking to expand outside Australia, specifically into France and Africa, to promote our Access services.
o Assist in developing tailored strategies for client market entry needs.
4. Relationship Management:
o Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients and partners to encourage retention, growth and referrals.
o Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and 5-star customer satisfaction.

Requirements
Requirements:
* Enthusiastic, sociable, proactive, and eager to grow into a leadership role and have an impact every day
* ~2-5 years’ Experience in sales, business development, or partnership roles, preferably in B2B and professional services environment
* Developed interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with partner
* Been part of creating or managing professional networks
* Proven ability to identify and convert leads into opportunities (hunter)
* Entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication with the ability to build rapport quickly
* Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Experience working with startup founders or SMEs is a plus
* Experience in public speaking and French speaking is a plus
