Role Overview
Supporting Live Broadcasting Operations
This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and problem-solving skills to support live broadcasting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting broadcast equipment and IT systems to ensure high uptime and reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Background in broadcast engineering, IT, or production experience.
* Familiarity with existing broadcast systems (e.g., iNews, Viz, Mosart).
* Project management, scripting, advanced IT admin, and installation experience.
* Up to three areas of technical expertise preferred.
* At least one or two expert-level areas (e.g., camera or VTR maintenance, IP streaming, RF tech, component repair, database administration, network engineering, etc.).
* Physically capable of handling and installing heavy broadcast equipment.
* Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and documentation abilities.
* Foundational knowledge in electronics, television technology, IP networking, and OS administration (Windows/Linux).
* Proficiency in using television tools and measuring equipment.
