Corporate Banking Specialist
This is an opportunity to manage and grow strategic relationships with key corporate clients, driving dialogue and delivering comprehensive banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management
* Manage a portfolio of key corporate clients as the primary point of contact
* Deepen long-term relationships with senior management and C-suite executives
* Understand client objectives, financial needs, and industry challenges
* Drive financial performance by leveraging Citi's products and services
2. Business Development & Origination
* Identify opportunities to cross-sell Citi's product solutions across banking, markets, and treasury and trade solutions
* Collaborate with global teams to deliver integrated solutions to our clients
* Lead origination, structuring, and execution of complex transactions and financings
* Pursue new client relationships where Citi can meet their banking needs
3. Credit & Risk Management
* Actively manage credit exposure and associated risks within the client portfolio
* Allocate capital prudently in accordance with shareholder return objectives
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk frameworks
4. Market & Industry Knowledge
* Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and the competitive landscape
* Provide insights and thought leadership on relevant financial, economic, and industry topics
5. Leadership & Team Collaboration
* Foster collaboration among product partners, risk management, and global teams
* Act as a mentor and leader to junior team members
* Contribute to the overall strategy, culture, and success of the Corporate Bank in Australia
