* We are seeking a lecturer to contribute to our teaching programs, with a focus on domestic Environmental Law.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative teaching approaches, assessments, and materials for units and courses, particularly in environmental law.
About the Role
* This is a full-time appointment on a tenurable basis, requiring the successful candidate to teach undergraduate and postgraduate units courses in domestic Environmental Law, as well as compulsory offerings in the JD and other undergraduate and postgraduate law programs as required.
* The lecturer will also be expected to fulfill the responsibilities of an academic at the relevant level of appointment in their field of expertise, including contributing to research, research supervision, and engagement activities within the Law School.
About You
* To be considered for this opportunity, you must have completion of LLB or JD and completion of, or significant progress towards completion of, a PhD, or equivalent, in Law or a relevant postgraduate qualification in Law combined with professional experience.
* Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels and evidence of a commitment to principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
* An emerging research profile in environmental law, relative to opportunity, and evidence of successful supervision or co-supervision of HDR students, relative to opportunity.
