A bit about the role
This is for someone early in their career who's already had some real-world experience.
You've worked to deadlines. You've seen jobs go to print. You understand that a good idea still needs strong craft behind it. You're confident in your foundations and you're curious to keep improving.
You'll work across:
* Brand identities and campaign rollouts.
* Sport-led creative projects.
* Print, digital and social.
* Environmental and signage.
* Website design and content builds.
Some weeks are concept-heavy. Others are production-focused. Sometimes it's detailed and methodical. Sometimes it's fast-paced and reactive. That mix is what keeps it interesting.
What you'll bring
* At least 2 years experience in a studio or agency environment.
* Solid Adobe CC skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
* Comfort in Figma, or a willingness to get there quickly.
* A good grasp of typography, layout and hierarchy.
* Attention to detail — the small stuff matters.
* An interest in sport and culture.
* Motion skills are a huge bonus if you have them.
More than anything, we're after someone who cares about the work and wants to be part of a team. Someone open to feedback, willing to ask questions and comfortable rolling up their sleeves when required.
The studio
SE Creative is a Melbourne-based studio working with some of the country's leading sporting organisations and brands.
We provide elite creative solutions in branding, campaign creative, print, digital, content and environmental work. The variety is real — you won't be doing the same thing every day.
We're small enough that your contribution genuinely matters, and experienced enough that you'll be learning from people who've been doing this for a long time.
Culture
We're straightforward, collaborative and grounded. There's high standards here, but no inflated egos. We give honest feedback, we back each other, we work hard during busy periods and we love what we do.
If you're someone who likes being around thoughtful, creative people and have a genuine desire to grow and develop, you'll feel at home.
What growth looks like
* Over time, we want to see you:
* Take ownership of smaller projects
* Contribute ideas in creative discussions
* Strengthen your conceptual thinking and output
* Deliver polished, production-ready files confidently
* Grow into a reliable, go-to designer within the team
* We don't expect you to know everything, however you do need to have a genuine desire to learn.
Location
We're about 20 minutes south-east of Melbourne, near Chadstone, surrounded by plenty of great food and coffee options.
