The firm provides accounting, tax and business advisory services to a diverse client base across industries including healthcare, retail, property and international business structures. The Role:
* Manage your own portfolio of tax and compliance clients
* Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and BAS/IAS
* Provide tax planning and advisory support to clients
* Supervise and support junior accountants in their development and work output
* Review work prepared by junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Liaise directly with clients across a range of industries
* Contribute to process improvement and workflow efficiency
* Collaborate with internal teams (including offshore support where applicable)
* Ensure compliance with Australian tax legislation and accounting standards
About You:
* 3+ years' experience in Australian public practice
* Experience managing client portfolios and reviewing work
* Strong technical knowledge of tax, compliance and accounting standards
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
* CA/CPA qualified or near completion
* Experience with Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks
* Strong communication and client relationship skills
* Ability to supervise or mentor junior staff
* Organised, detail-focused and proactive approach to work
